New Year’s Eve in Brazil: Let’s Pipa 2027 Guide

Let’s Pipa 2027 runs December 27 to 31, 2026, in Pipa, Brazil. See what is confirmed, where to buy tickets and what to sort out before you fly.

Let’s Pipa 2027 is a multi-day New Year’s festival in Pipa, Brazil, running December 27 to 31, 2026, with daytime events until January 2, 2027. It is an 18+ event, tickets are sold only through BaladAPP, and many travelers need a visa, so plan your tickets, entry papers and transfer early.

What is Let’s Pipa

Brazilians call New Year’s Eve Réveillon, so you will see the word everywhere. Let’s Pipa is a Réveillon with several days of parties in Praia da Pipa, Tibau do Sul, on Brazil’s northeast coast. The 2026 to 2027 edition celebrates 10 years under the concept “Back to Essentials”, which is about nature, connection, freedom and music.

The ticket on sale is a 5-day pass, valid from December 27 to 31, 2026. The parties have an open bar in a single area, and the night of December 31 is an all-inclusive celebration with food included.

Beyond the night parties, the organizers announce a wellness arena, a daytime beach club and boat parties. These are sold separately, and sales had not opened as of November 5, 2026.

On the ticket page we checked on November 5, 2026, the line-up was still listed as “em breve”, Portuguese for coming soon. The organizers post updates on Instagram (@letspipa), so check there and on BaladAPP before you lock in your plans.

Last year’s program

The previous edition ran from December 27, 2025 to January 2, 2026, with a themed party each day. In the program published by Portal IN, Salt opened on December 27 with Luan Santana. Colors, on December 29, was billed with Léo Santana and Ariel B. Trops, on December 30, was billed with South African DJ Black Coffee, and 7 Ondas was set for January 2 with Jorge & Mateus as headliners. The Let’s Club side program listed Henry Freitas and Thiaguinho.

If those names are new to you, Portal IN described the line-up as artists who top Brazil’s charts and big stages, and Black Coffee as a global reference in house music. That gives you a sense of the scale, but it is no promise for this year: each night’s artists are still to be announced.

Where to buy tickets

The organizers say sales are exclusive to the BaladAPP website and app, and that they are not responsible for purchases made elsewhere. Buy from the official Let’s Pipa 2027 page and be wary of any other seller.

The page is in Portuguese. If something does not work when you buy from abroad, use the support contacts listed on that same page rather than a third party. These are the rules that matter most for a group trip:

  • Cancellation: you can request it up to 7 days after buying, as long as the event is more than 48 hours away.
  • No-shows: if you do not attend, the ticket is lost and there is no refund.
  • Buying for someone else: enter their details at checkout. Name changes have their own rules and deadline, so read that part of the page before you pay.
  • Entry: it is an 18+ event, and you must bring your ticket and an official photo ID.

Before you fly: visas and ID

US, Canadian and Australian citizens need an e-Visa for tourism in Brazil, a rule in place since April 10, 2025. The US State Department warns that travelers without a visa cannot enter Brazil, so apply well ahead. Brazil’s consulates list the official e-Visa process, including the application portal. Travelers of other nationalities should check the rules for their passport.

The party also requires an official photo ID, so ask the organizers which document they accept for foreign guests.

How to split your days

The parties from December 27 to 29 start at 10 pm, so your days are free to explore. Here is a simple way to plan the week:

  • Arrival: if you can, arrive before December 27, so groceries, transport and the house are sorted without a rush.
  • Beach days: use your mornings to see the beaches of Pipa. Check the tide table first, because the tide changes access to some beaches.
  • December 30: gates open much earlier, at 4 pm, so keep that day lighter.
  • December 31: gates open at 8 pm. Agree with your group on how everyone gets there and back.
  • After the countdown: Arena Wellness and Falésias Beach Club are announced until January 2, 2027, so you can extend your stay.

As of November 5, the only ticket listed was the 5-day pass. If someone in your group only wants one or two nights, keep an eye on the page for single-day tickets.

New Year’s Eve in Pipa without the festival

Since this is an 18+ event, families with kids need another plan for December 31. For the 2023 to 2024 countdown, the Tibau do Sul city government announced fireworks around town. As of November 5, 2026, we had not found a public program for this year, so check closer to the date.

For family days, our page on Pipa with children has ideas.

How to get to Pipa

The reference airport is Natal, in São Gonçalo do Amarante, about 95 to 100 km (60 miles) from Pipa. The drive takes a little under 2 hours. The route follows the BR-101 highway to Goianinha, then 25 km (about 16 miles) of slower road toward Tibau do Sul.

You can go by transfer, rental car, taxi or bus from Natal’s bus station. Our page on how to get to Pipa covers each option, and Vive Pipa lists transfers to Pipa. For New Year’s week, arrange your ride before you fly, especially if you land overnight.

Think about getting back from the parties too. According to our how-to-get-there page, private cars cannot use Pipa’s main street at night, and there are far fewer Ubers than in Natal. If your house is far from the Centrinho, the town center, agree on a plan in advance.

Where to stay for New Year’s Eve

It depends on the size of your group and what you want to do. Our guide to where to stay in Pipa explains each area.

For families and groups, a whole house often works best: everyone stays together, with a pool, and each person keeps their own pace between parties and rest. A few examples from our page of New Year’s Eve vacation rentals in Pipa:

Each house has its own terms for the holiday, so confirm dates and what is included on WhatsApp.
